Jim Lowe Producer/Mixer/Engineer
Studio West London
Producer-Engineer, Mixer and Multi-Instrumentalist Jim Lowe has been part of musical milestones from The Stereophonics, The Charlatans and Herbie Hancock. Based in Shepherds Bush, his studio facilities and credits speak for themselves.
Training extensively at Nomis Stidios, West London, Jim's path eventually crossed with The Stereophonics and he went on to engineer and produce their Number 1 album - 'You Gotta Go There To Come Back', 'Language ,Sex, Violence, Other?' & 'Pull The Pin' - which collectively spawned 10 Top 20 hit singles including 'Madame Helga' and 'Maybe Tomorrow', alongside the UK #1 single 'Dakota'. The relationship with Kelly Jones and the band blossomed and saw Jim go on to produce extensively for The Stereophonics and is currently working on their current album. He has worked with musical legends such as Herbie Hancock - on his Grammy award winning album 'Imagine', with artists such as Seal, India Arie, Amy MacDonald, Pink and John Legend and has mixed on projects for The Foo Fighters, Manic Street Preachers and Taylor Swift.
His skills in the studio cross genres; his real strength is not only recording live bands, but also programming and working to produce intrictae soundscapes and arrangements. Jim is able to produce recordings and mixes that stay true to the music.
Additional engineering credits include - Beyonce, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, The Who, Mark Knopfler, Womack & Womack, Nick Cave, Emmy Lou Harris, Skunk Anansie, Jamiroquai, Arthur Brown, Christopher Lee (Actor), P.P.Arnold, Steve Howe
