An talented all-rounder, Ruadhri Cushnan continues to be Z Management's busiest mixer. This follows a prolific 2012, where he mixed three UK number 1 albums, including Ed Sheeran's 6x platinum selling debut album "+". Ruadhri's success has continued into 2013, with a Grammy win for his mix work on Mumford and Sons' album 'Babel', the follow-up to their 5x Platinum debut, 'Sigh No More'. With a steady flow of great records and chart successes, this year has continued to be as fruitful as ever.
Some ongoing album projects currently include Luke Sital Singh (Parlophone), Saint Raymond (Warner/Asylum), King Charles (Universal/Republic), Foy Vance (Glassnote), having also recently completed album and Radio mixes for Half Moon Run (Glassnote), Little Green Cars (Glassnote) and We Were Evergreen (Mi7).
In addition to mixing for acclaimed indie bands such as The Maccabees and Guillemots, Ruadhri over the years has been equally comfortable working with chart orientated projects such as, Corinne Bailey Rae (EMI), Sugababes (Island), All Saints (London) and regular projects with Futurecut.
Ruadhri started his career as an Engineer at Metropolis Studios London having the opportunity to learn from many legendary producers and great artists such as Queen, The The, Ray Charles, Robert Plant and later on projects for Primal Scream, U2, Neneh Cherry, Bjork, and George Michael.
With a wealth of experience including songwriting and production and a track record which speaks for itself, Ruadhri has proved himself to be a consistently great and versatile radio mixer. His mixes are regularly praised for staying true to the music - an honesty that always sounds fresh.
Ruadhri works from his own studio in North London mainly mixing in the box with a great collection of classic vintage and modern outboard close to hand.
